Third-Parties: Any entities, including but not limited to property management companies, landlords, and credit agencies, that engage in the request, provision, or receipt of rental history information.

Rental History Information: Data pertaining to an individual’s rental history, including payment records, lease terms, and any other relevant rental-related information.

Services: Software applications and related services provided by ResiVerify that facilitate the sharing of rental history information between Third-Parties.

3. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using our Services, Third-Parties agree to be bound by these Terms. If a Third-Party does not agree to these Terms, they must not use our Services.

4. Rental History Information Request

4.1 Authorization:

Third-Parties must have proper authorization from the individual whose rental history is being requested before making any request for such information.

4.2 Accuracy and Completeness:

Third-Parties providing rental history information must ensure that all entries are accurate and complete. ResiVerify is not responsible for verifying the accuracy of the information provided by Third-Parties.

4.3 Compliance with Laws:

Third-Parties must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards when requesting, providing, or receiving rental history information.

5. Use of Rental History Information

5.1 Permitted Use:

Rental history information obtained through our Services must be used solely for legitimate purposes related to rental or lease decision-making.

5.2 Prohibited Use:

Rental history information must not be used for discriminatory purposes or in violation of any applicable laws.

7. Responsibilities of Third-Parties

Third-Parties providing rental history information must ensure the accuracy and integrity of the information shared.

8. Limitation of Liability

ResiVerify shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of our Services, including but not limited to errors or omissions in rental history information, unauthorized access, or misuse of the information by Third-Parties.

9. Indemnification

Third-Parties agree to indemnify and hold ResiVerify harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from their use of our Services or their breach of these Terms.

10. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting of the revised Terms. Continued use of our Services after any such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
